We went to have special of the day Cozido à Potuguesa (Portuguese stew) for lunch on Sunday. Food was amazing and service was great, very friendly and attentive. We ordered two sharing platters to share between us and our kids. We wanted to have 3, but lady who served us suggested that 2 will be enough and when we finished our meal we were really happy that we listened to her. We still had plenty of food left over. She asked us if we wanted to take leftovers with us and packed them really nicely in takeaway container. We will definetly go there to eat again. Perfect place if you are looking home cooked Portuguese meal in relaxed atmosphere without any unnecessary frills and dress code.

Wonderful warm welcome. Delicious home cooked food. Lovely environment. This is a real gem of a restaurant - and such reasonable prices. Massively recommend. I went on a Sunday and had the lamb chaff - was divine (and I don't even normally eat lamb!)

Maravilhosa....loved the food and feeling of authenticity. Most definitely worth a visit ... excellent value for money. Listened to the news in Portuguese just like we do when we visit Portugal...looking forward to our next visit

Ok. I am absolutely hooked! We went late on a Sunday afternoon (in a city with most closed on Sunday) and we found this little jewl for the Portuguese food afficionados that can't afford a trip to Portugal but still want to live the full Portuguese restaurant experience. We asked for a litre of sangria and it was fresh and sweet with loads of fruit. We tasted the lovely Portuguese olives. We tried the alheira. And my daughter tried the bitoque ( very tender beef) all with a lovely traditionally made rice. A salad. 2 expressos. And a lovely "baba de camelo "The toilets were very clean. People took their time to talk and to ask us everything was good. The price wasn't steep. Not even 60. So highly recommend. Try it . Other traditional dishes are on the menu. Bom apetite!

My family and I love to eat there, Cristina is a sweetheart. She made us feel like we were at home. The cook is an excellent person, not to mention all the food. Everything is 1000. Thank you, we will definitely come back.

Absolutely lovely food and fantastic service! Even managed to serve us hot food even tho the electricity was out!!
